Douglas Cardinal at the Museum of History

Our second round of interviews with Douglas Cardinal took place at the History Museum, in Hull Quebec. Cardinal was accompanied by Albert Dumont, a respected Elder from the Algonquin territory. Dumont was interviewed with the purpose to add context and showcase the importance of Douglas’ contributions to indigenous visibility.

This interview with Cardinal covered the importance of teaching a new history to Canadians and offered us a look at his professional contributions to architecture. The production team was also given a sneak peek at the Museum’s new Canadian Hall exhibit.
